The Dukes of Stratosphear was a side project of the British rock band XTC, formed in the mid-1980s. The band's music was heavily influenced by the psychedelic pop music of the 1960s, particularly the music of bands like The Beatles and The Byrds. Their debut album, "25 O'Clock," was released in 1985 and was followed by "Psonic Psunspot" in 1987.

"Psonic Psunspot" was released on vinyl as a 1LP 200g import, and it is considered by many fans to be one of the best examples of psychedelic pop music from the 1980s. The album features 10 tracks, each with its own unique sound and style.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Vanishing Girl," which is a nod to The Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow." The song features a catchy melody, trippy harmonies, and lyrics that reference the psychedelic imagery of the 1960s.
